German Cockroach

The Oriental cockroach is probably the biggest of these 3. It grows approximately 25mm in length. These critters are a dark brown or black color with a shiny body and move generally slower than the other cockroaches. They are sometimes called the \”waterbug\” \’cause they like to live in dark, damp areas. They are most probably found in cellars or damp mulch. Incubation can last two months with about 15 eggs hatching & they can each live for up to two years.
